New Yamaha Bike: the 200HP VMax

A pre-production bike manufactured by Yamaha, the 200HP VMax, is set to continue where the original line left off. Sporting up-to-date components, a 4-stroke V4 engine, and a new chassis, the 2009 VMax is set to bring a surge of power and adrenaline to the motorbike crowd. This Yamaha model is designed to showcase cutting edge technology when it comes to engines and features a 40 % increase in cubic capacity.

This bike features Yamaha G.E.N.I.C.H technology with both YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) and YCC-I (Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake). Plus, it uses a new fuel injection system. All of this coupled together means that the Yamaha 200HP VMax can deliver greater standing-start acceleration and roll-on acceleration than ever before.

This Yamaha model is designed to meet four specific goals. It is built to produce an incredible acceleration feeling along with strong performance. Its handling ability is sharp, precise, and distinctive. The chassis has been designed with sophistication as well as a unique appearance. Of course, the bike is compliant with the EU3 regulations and guidelines.

This bike has a powerful engine featuring electronic engine control technology. With a low profile aluminum frame, this motorbike brings with it radial-mounted 6-piston brakes, 18-inch front and rear wheels, and a linear-controlled ABS system.

Available in Solar Black, the 200HP VMax can be reserved online on a first come, first served basis. The expectation is that demand will be huge, especially in Europe.
