WHEN it comes to motorbikes our hottest stars just can’t get enough of sleek, powerful action. Fast, feisty and glamorous …and that’s just the motorbikes, celebrities’ love of the motorbike shows no sign of abating. This week Motorbike Insurance takes a look at some of the hottest celebrities behind the hottest wheels.

PINK
The pop princess and her motorbike mad husband, Carey Hart have been accused of “doing the celebrity couple photo-op” by fans. “Rumours about marriage trouble for these two crazy kids have been circulating for months, says a source:

“Something about an open marriage…. that never works. When will women learn? Recent photos of them out on his and hers motorbikes is obviously a photo-op, do you really think if they were going on a serious ride Pink would be rockin’ a bikini top? That’s a lot of bare skin that could easily be torn off that manly body in an accident.”

GEORGE CLOONEY
The Hollywood heartthrob and his model girlfriend are the first to admit they have their occasional guilty pleasure. While recovering from a motorbike accident in the Autumn, Sarah Larson admits they were glued to marathons of VH1's Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.

"We caught ourselves rooting for someone or getting frustrated," says Larson And we were like, 'This is sad.' Despite dating one of the world’s sexist men, Larson says she sees Clooney, 47, as "a normal person, like anyone else. He just happens to have a well-known face."

Attending all the show business parties is "like a modelling job," she says, "smiling and greeting people." The former model says she probably would never have fallen for Clooney if he, too, had had a reality show past. "If George had been on a reality show, I don't think I'd have talked to him," she admits. "It would have been like, 'That's that.”

MARIE OSMOND
The Mormon singer has taken up a one woman crusade to clean up the Internet after discovering her two teenage daughters have been posting sexually explicit correspondence on MySpace

On her site, 18-year-old Jessica, who was adopted by Osmond as an infant, claims she is a bi-sexual who craves sex "as many times as possible," while her 16-year-old sister describes herself as a "slut" and a "whore" in correspondence and opened up about her dreams of riding a motorbike and having sex with David Bowie.

"I am saddened by some of the choices that two of our children have made, says Marie: "The insidious potential for harm from adolescent Internet sites like MySpace.com only exacerbates these kinds of problems. "If my being a celebrity figure is good for anything, let it be as a voice of warning to other parents that no matter how protective we think we may have been with our children in the past, we need to become more knowledgeable and even more vigilant now in order to protect them.”

Peter Wentz
The Fall Out Boy frontman has joked that he would like his forthcoming marriage to be inspired by Gremlins2. Wentz, a big motorbike fan, who is engaged to sexy songstress Ashlee Simpson, says the film in which green monsters try to take over a New York building – is one of his all-time favourites.

"I think we're going to have our theme based around Gremlins 2, says Wentz: “We could have it take place in a mall and there could be little green naked monsters running about! We could even have Gizmo as a guest!"

KATE HUDSON
Agents acting for the Hollywood star and comedian Owen Wilson have denied reports that the pair are engaged. Rumours were rife that the on-off pair were set to marry after Hudson was spotted on a motorbike wearing a large diamond ring on her engagement finger.

Hudson and Owen began dating two years ago after they met while filming You, Me and Dupree and split last summer. The couple reunited earlier this year, with Hudson calling Owen a "lovely person" who she loves "dearly" in January.

BRITNEY SPEARS
The troubled star has made a pledge to her little sister that she will be around to offer all the help she can when Jamie Lynn gives birth.

The teenager is due to deliver her first child with fiancé Casey Aldridge in the summer and motorbike mad Spears is determined to be there for her.

!At the baby shower, she told her little sister she wanted to be there for her the entire time,’ a friend reveals. ‘I'm not sure how Casey is going to feel about that, but Jamie Lynn seems pretty excited.’ Spears who is officially under the care of her father will have to get permission from him before going back to Louisiana. “She had to ask him if it was OK to go back for the shower, says a source: “He has to give her permission to travel, and the money to do it. It's not that he doesn't want her there for her little sister. It's just that he thinks it's best to keep Britney close to home right now.”

CHRISTINA RICCI
The Hollywood star says a cheeky monkey dangled from her breasts on the set of her latest movie Speed Racer. According to Ricci, the chimp who plays Chim-Chum made a grab for her breasts during a motorbike action scene.

‘When I went on set for the first shot of the movie, they sat me right next to a chimpanzee that was starring in the film,’ says Ricci. “Then the whole set shakes – as it was supposed to for the scene – and the monkey freaks out and grabs my left breast. It was hanging off me, so I just very slowly leaned over, so its little feet could touch the ground and take some weight off my boob before the monkey ripped the whole thing off.”

KATE MOSS
Just when it looked as if love was blossoming for the supermodel and Kills guitarist Jamie Hince, there are rumours they have split-up. The couple who have been dating for nearly a year were reputedly planning a summer wedding. But there are now question marks over the big day after Hince was spotted moving his belongings out of the Belstaff model’s North London home.

“Jamie and Kate had a blazing argument in the early hours of Sunday morning” says a source: “Kate made some comment about a girl who’d been hanging around Jamie, and it deteriorated from there.

“Just hours later, Jamie was packing his things and moving stuff out of her house. By the afternoon, most of it had gone. Kate was expected to watch The Kills play in Kent that evening, but she gave it a miss and went to watch the show High School Musical instead.”

“Since then” added the source, “Kate and Jamie haven’t spoken as she's had her mobile turned off or has been screening his calls.”

JACK BLACK
Late night shopping made the motorbike loving star realise that drug-taking wasn't for him. The School of Rock star says he only experimented with hard drug once after been giving a small amount from an acquaintance. “It didn't agree with me, says Black: “I couldn't really feel my legs, and my heart felt like it was slowing down too much.

"I thought, 'Oh my God, it's going to shut me down. I'm going to die.' "I went down to the 7-Eleven (convenience store) at the bottom of the hill, and I had this strange sensation that my legs were pumping, but the feet were just sort of lifeless stumps.

"I did a little shopping and then walked back up the hill and survived. And never did it again."

ANGELINA JOLIE
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's babies are finally about to be delivered. According to media sources, Jolie has checked into the Lenval Hospital in the South of France to give birth to twins.

"There's no urgency,” says a hospital spokesperson: “It's been planned for a long time. She's very well. Everything is fine." A bidding war has already started for first photographs of the twins, believed to be up to £20m.

The couple made the move to the South of France earlier this year and are living in Correns, in the Provence region. The arrival of the twins will expand their family to six. In addition to Shiloh, they have three adopted children: Maddox, six, Pax, four, and Zahara, three.

Meanwhile, a chase from Tomb Reader has been named the favourite movie moment for motorbike enthusiasts, with Jolie’s leather-clad riding as Lara Croft speeding her way into motorbiker’s hearts.

Steve McQueen’s race to the Swiss border in The Great Escape and Tom Cruise's Aviatorclad ride to Kelly McGillis in Top Gun missed out on the number one spot in favour of Jolie's jumpsuit-wearing ride about a Yamaha TRX 850.

Scenes from Easy Rider, The Motorcycle Diaries and the Indiana Jones blockbuster were other surprising omissions from the survey. "With everyone talking about Indiana Jones being the big blockbuster of the summer, it's really surprising to see its predecessor didn't make the top five motorcycling movie moments, “says a survey spokesperson.

"There are some much-loved biking greats in the mix but it seems that bikers have always had a soft spot for Lara Croft!"

EWAN MCGREGOR
The Scottish actor reveals he desperately needed a shower on his return from his last motorbike adventure - because he only carried baby wipes to keep him clean.

The Hollywood hunk and mate Charley Boorman spent several weeks motorbiking from Scotland to Cape Horn in Africa as part of hit TV series Long Way Down. Both were quick to admit they were too terrified to bathe in crocodile-infested.

"You lower your standard, but you get by, says McGregor: You always come across rivers (in Africa) but you don't want to jump into just any one, because there could be crocs. "We also carried baby wipes. That's a handy way to keep clean."

CARL BARAT
The Dirty Pretty Things front man has smashed his collarbone in a drunken motorbike accident in Taiwan. The former Libertine reveals, "I went to karaoke and drunk a lot of sake, came outside, and people were stood out on their motorbikes, they were driving Triumphs which was a surprise to me, I asked to have a go and I did, and I fell off.

"I revved it up, and flew off the handle bars, only in a car-park; I didn't endanger anyone but myself."

EDDIE VAN HALEN
The rocker is selling off his Harley Davidson motorbike to any fan that agrees to pay top dollar for one of his custom EVH guitars. The Van Halen founder is introducing a limited edition line of EVH Art Series Guitars, featuring his autograph and artwork drawn by him, and he's selling an initial batch on Internet auction site eBay.

The highest bidder will also receive Eddie's customised Harley.

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY
The Hollywood hunk is selling his beloved motorcycle in a bid to raise funds for his charity foundation. The Sahara star has donated his Texas Longhorns National Championship tribute bike to benefit his j.k. livin foundation, which helps provide enrichment programs for kids.

"Let the biddin' begin, hook 'em horns, and now and always, just keep livin', says McConaughey.

JESSICA ALBA
The actress has sent shock waves across the US by modelling for a bondage-themed billboard advert to encourage Americans to vote in the forthcoming presidential election.

In the poster, Alba wears provocative make-up and is topless, except for black tape across her breasts and mouth. "If you don't register and vote, you are muzzling yourself, says the star who recently confessed to a love of motorbikes.

“I love motocross, said Alba recently: “but I’m not very good at it. I’m such a spaz, I’ll just get cocky and confident enough and I know I’ll break my neck. I haven’t done any big jumps, but riding a motorcycle is the best thing.

“You want to go faster, and you don’t want to wear a helmet, and you want to do tricks. If I do another action movie, which I intend to, I gotta throw some motorcycle stuff in there, she adds.”

BEYONCE KNOWLES
The sexy singer, who has a penchant for leather motorcycle gear, is keen to “open doors” for other African-Americans who want to make it into the world of show business.

The former Destiny's Child front woman says she is proud of her black heritage and wants to shake up the entertainment industry so it embraces more people from ethnic backgrounds.

"I don't think it's because there aren't any (talented African-American performers). It's just going to take a second for people to acknowledge all of them, says Knowles: “We're getting there. But I see a lot of powerful, talented African-American or black women all the time. I am really proud that I am one of the artists that have the opportunity to be on magazine covers and to be in the movies.

"And I do think that I'm opening doors for more black women, just like Halle (Berry) and Diana Ross opened doors for me."

THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS
The raunchy pop princesses’ have revealed that they visit a "love guru" whenever they are feeling down. According to sources the band visit a south Indian humanitarian and spiritualist when their hectic lives leave them feeling stressed. The band believe they are connected spiritually from past lives and admit to feeling better after hugging their guru.

"We've all gotten into this book, Many Lives, Many Masters, says band member Robin Antin.

"It's about reincarnation, finding your soul mate, and people who are in your lives for a reason."

The band’s new album “Doll Domination" is due to be released this month and features all the Dolls riding a motorbike with their initials emblazoned across each of their motors.

SIR ELTON JOHN
The Rocket Man star has cancelled a forthcoming duet and tour with Lily Allen after they fell out while hosting the GQ awards.

"I was thinking about asking her to tour with me and maybe even do a duet. Obviously that won't be happening," says Sir Elton.

During the awards show, Allen had remarked: "Now we reach a very special point in the evening," to which Sir Elton replied: "What, you are going to have another drink?"

The young star retorted: "F*** off Elton, I'm 40 years younger than you, I have my whole life ahead of me."

"I could still snort you under the table," he replied.

Meanwhile, Sir Elton, who is famous for his philanthropy, has donated 120 motorcycles to the African nation of Lesotho - so doctors and nurses can treat medical emergencies in the mountainous state.

The singer travelled into Lesotho during a tour of South Africa with his partner David Furnish, and handed over the bikes in a ceremony just outside of the capital Maseru on Saturday

The donation is part of the Riders for Health Programme, which John funds through his Elton John Aids Foundation. "We want to improve the transport system by bringing health care to millions of people living in the most rural areas and thus making a difference in their lives, says Sir Elton.

ORLANDO BLOOM
The Hollywood hunk makes no secret of his passion for motorbikes and was spotted giving his stunning supermodel girlfriend Mirander Kerr a ride in the fast lane last week.

The pair were spotted riding around New York City’s Soho on a BMW before dropping by celebrity hang out A Lucky Duck, for lunch. “They were getting “hot and heavy” with each other, says an onlooker.

GEORGE CLOONEY
The Ocean’s Eleven star has paid tribute to silent movie legend Anita Page following her death in LA earlier this month.

"She looked like a cross between Miss Havisham and Norma Desmond. She had the oomph of a star who believed herself to still be big, says motorbike mad Clooney.

"She could walk into any party and the whole room would spin round. She'd talk about old movies and stars like Rudolph Valentino and Greta Garbo and weekends with Randolph Hearst."

PETE WENTZ
The rocker has admitted to a recent addiction to antidepressants. The rocker, who is expecting his first child with actress Ashlee Simpson, was on a cocktail of drugs to help cope with depression when he was younger - and has been having counselling ever since then to help control his mood swings.

"As a kid I always went to therapists; the first time was when my parents were separated on my sixth birthday, then on and off since then, says Wentz: “I was diagnosed with ADD (attention deficit disorder), raised on sugary cereals and cartoons - and manic depression. So I was prescribed Ritalin for the ADD, and for the manic imbalances I was prescribed mostly benzodiazepines, which I loved, and antidepressants.

"The list of drugs I've been prescribed would read like a grocery list, everything from Klonopin to Prozac."

"It had more to do with being depressed. I wasn't thinking of killing myself. I've never really called it a suicide attempt. I just wanted my head to be completely turned off.

Meanwhile, his wife Ashlee Simpson has treated the Fall Out Boy star to a Triumph Bonneville motorcycle for Christmas but has no plans to join him on the open road just yet.

"When we went to get it, I bought my helmet and I was like, 'You should probably buy a helmet, so we can ride together.' She was like, 'I'm not going to buy a helmet, I'm not going to ride with you - until you actually know what you are doing.'"

"I was riding yesterday. I didn't realize how hard a motorcycle was to ride. I'd only seen it on TV, and in films, and I was like, 'I want to ride one!', but they're f**king hard to ride, adds Wentz.

ANGELINA JOLIE
The sexy star revealed she was set to quit her acting career after the birth of twins Knox and Vivienne, but partner Brad Pitt persuaded her to return to work.

“We had a big discussion about whether I should go back to work at all, but Brad said it was a part of me as well and it would be alright, so we’re trying to balance it out, says Jolie.

Jolie, who recently topped a Motorbike poll for her action packed Motorbike chase in Tomb Raider, admits she and Brad get little opportunity to spend time alone together.

“Even if we lock our door the children come knocking, she says: “We often try to have a bath alone together at the end of the night and sit and talk, but they hear the water and want to jump in.

“But it’s fun and lovely – the thing about having six is once you get past three or four, it’s just so crazy anyway that it’s just more chaos and that’s OK.”

“It’s so much fun but it’s very hard work. The kids are forming beautiful friendships. They’re teammates and they’re very loving to the babies.”

SCARLETT JOHANSSON
The gorgeous actress and Ryan Reynolds have just tied the knot despite claiming they were in no rush to do so. The intimate wedding took place at a resort outside Vancouver, guest included Johansson’s mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother, Adrian Johansson.

The couple, who are often spotted out and about on the Ducati Motorbike, announced their engagement in May. "We're just enjoying our time," the actress said in August. "We're just recently - very recently - engaged. So, you know, we're just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. But it's a good time and we're just ... enjoying our time to be young and engaged.

"I mean, I'm 23. There's no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed."

HEATHER MILLS
Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife believes ice cream should be made from human breast milk. The 40-year-old former model, who lost a leg when a Motorbike ploughed into her, is supporting a campaign by PETA to encourage ice cream company Ben and Jerry's to replace cows' milk with breast milk.

PETA's request comes after reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting it for 75 per cent of the cows' milk in the food that he serves.

"The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy products made from milk that was meant for a baby cow just doesn't make sense, says Mills: “So Ben and Jerry's could do consumers and cows a big favour by making the switch to breast milk." Heather has previously urged people to drink rats' milk to save the planet.

"Why don't we drink rats' milk, cats' milk or dogs' milk? The startling truth is that animals farmed for meat and dairy are now one of the greatest threats to the planet.”

DREW BARRYMORE
The actress says she is at peace with her single status. Barrymore, who split from fellow actor Justin Long in the summer, is now “learning” who she is.

"My priorities have changed so much, says Barrymore:” I've been single for months now and I've turned my attention toward my passions, my friends and the causes I believe in. It's been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself."

"I've had a couple of fun, frolicky relationships, but really, I got out of a five-year relationship and I dated a few people here and there. "I've been spending time with my friends and doing more travelling with the United Nations and challenging myself at work. I'm so happy with where my priorities are right now."

Meanwhile, Triumph has donated the Motorbike driven by Barrymore in Hollywood movie Lucky You to the legends of the Motorbike show charity auction in San Francisco. Nearly 6,000 bikers turned out to witness the great and the good of the two-wheeled world.

PARIS HILTON
Paris Hilton reveals she wants "three or four children" with partner Benji Madden. The hotel heiress is set on a future with the musician, and believes he will make a good father. "I definitely want three or four children. And soon - maybe a year or two says the Motorbike model. "Benji and I just had our seven-month anniversary. We are just so happy."

Paris - who has previously dated stars including Rick Salomon, Nick Carter and model Jason Shaw - also revealed she is happier than she has ever been and has recently recorded songs with her lover.

"The songs are just being mixed right now and should be done soon. I've got a recording studio at my house in Los Angeles and so we've been working there every night. It's been fun. Our songs are just happy and fun dance music. It reflects what Benji and I are like together - happy and fun.”

DITA VON TEESE
The sexy burlesque star has trouble talking to men she fancies.

Von Teese - who is divorced from Goth Motorbike rocker Marilyn Manson - revealed she loses the power of speech if she meets a man she is attracted to.

"I don't claim to be a good judge of character in relationships. I get so nervous when I'm attracted to someone that I can't talk. I'm so scared of rejection - I'm not good around boys, says Von Teese.

"I'm single for the first time now, and allowing men to bring me a lot of pleasure. Whenever I'm in a relationship, I'm blind to everyone else in the world, and all the chapters in my life are defined by my relationships.

"With my marriage, I believe that everything happened for a reason, and I don't think I had the power to change anything. I did my very best."
